TruPulse 360 Laser

PDF Datasheet

The TruPulse 360 Laser is the latest in a long line of high performance Laser range finders with advanced optics measuring both distance, height and heading. Combining a compass with the laser and tilt sensors the TruPulse 360 is able to measure slope distance, horizontal distance, vertical distance, inclination, azimuth, height or distance between two points. The compact and lightweight unit reveal measurements in the display so that the user never need take their eyes off the target while having the opportunity of measuring up to 1000m without a reflective surface.

The Closest operating modes distinguishes near and far objects and identifies the closest target, while the Farthest operating mode allows you to shoot distant features through brush or foliage by locking on the farthest target. The Scan operating mode continuously updates as it locks on multiple targets.

The unit is both water and dust resistant so that it can comfortably withstand harsh weather conditions.
An RS232 serial port allows for downloading of data collected and there is also the option of Bluetooth so that data can be exchanged wirelessly.

The TruPulse Laser is a low cost yet high performance tool with advanced optics measuring both distance and height. The compact and lightweight unit reveal measurements in the display so that the user never need take their eyes off the target while having the opportunity of measuring up to 1000m without a reflective surface.

An integrated tilt sensor allows you to measure horizontal or vertical distance and calculate an objects height instantly by using the built-in two-shot routine. The Closest operating modes distinguishes near and far objects and identifies the closest target, while the Farthest operating mode allows you to shoot distant features through brush or foliage by locking on the farthest target. The Scan operating mode continuously updates as it locks on multiple targets.

Criterion RD1000

PDF Datasheet

The Criterion RD1000 is the first patented electronic relascope/dendrometer that accurately measures tree diameters. Utilising the integrated tilt sensor you can collect diameter data at any point up the stem and also find the height at which a specific diameter is reached.

The Basal Area Factor (BAF) routine will show In and Out trees for a wide range of sampling factors no need to buy any additional parts for your particular plots. Borderline tress are easily resolved by transmitting a distance from an LTI rangefinder into the RD1000s input serial port or manually enter in a distance via the keypad.

Are rough terrain and thick brush slowing you down? Eliminate positioning restrictions and obtain a direct read out of the diameter from any distance. The in-scope LED display offers variable brightness levels, making it easy to read under all lighting conditions. An included 2.4X magnifier can also be added for improved measurement resolution at greater distances.

The Criterion RD1000 includes a second output serial port for communicating to an external data collector.

HAGLOF Digital Survey Equipment

Vertex III digital hypsometer

The Vertex III uses ultrasound to provide accurate and quick measurement of distance, height and angles.

Requires a 'target' transponder to be placed on the object to be measured. Battery powered, compact and rugged; the Vertex III is the number one best seller in it's class.

Vertex Laser digital hypsometer

This addition to the Haglof range combines the best measuring technologies of ultrasound & laser in one compact ultra-light instrument.

In dense forest or with difficult targets, use ultrasound. Clear sight and longer distances, use laser. The best of both worlds! Also includes a laser scan mode for objects that are distant or narrow i.e power lines.

Needless to say the Vertex Laser is designed to withstand the rigours of field use.

Haglof Electronic Clinometer (HEC)

The HEC is an extremely small (less than 50g) yet powerful and rugged device for measuring heights at virtually any distance. This accurate and reliable instrument is set to become a favourite as it eliminates calculation errors experienced with other clinometers.

We can also offer other Haglof products including a comprehensive range of Increment Borers, Calipers (digital & computerised) and associate software for survey & cruising work etc.
